Our Approach

Coordination, considered as a discipline.

We are not a hospital. We are not a doctor. We are the entity that holds the journey together — clinically informed, logistically rigorous, contractually private. What follows is how we work.

· 01

Our coordination philosophy

Medical care abroad is never primarily a medical problem. The medicine is the easy part — Belgium has world-class clinicians and they will do their work well. The difficulty is what surrounds the medicine: the visa, the language, the logistics, the privacy, the timing, the family, the security, the return home. Each of these touches the medical outcome.

We exist because that surrounding work is too much for any individual, however senior, to manage in addition to being a patient.

· 02

How a case is opened

A first message reaches us through Signal, ProtonMail or our confidential form. A senior coordinator — never a junior, never an assistant — reads it within hours. A private call is scheduled if you wish. No medical documentation is requested until you have decided that you wish to engage. From that point, a single coordinator is assigned, and remains assigned through return home.

· 03

Who is involved on our side

A coordination team kept deliberately small. Each coordinator is multilingual, medically literate and bound by non-disclosure. A medical advisor is consulted on clinical questions — never in your name, always anonymised, and always to ensure that our coordination decisions are clinically sound. We do not maintain a large staff because a large staff makes confidentiality structurally harder.

· 04

How we work with Belgian medical teams

We coordinate care into Belgian institutions; we do not employ their doctors and we do not represent them. We will share with you, plainly, which centre we propose for your case and why. You retain the right to choose differently. Once a centre is engaged, our coordinator becomes the single channel between you and them — every appointment, every record, every payment runs through us.

· 05

Confidentiality protocols

All written communication is through encrypted channels — Signal, ProtonMail, or our zero-knowledge enquiry form. All staff sign non-disclosure agreements before they see any client information. Where Belgian law permits, hospital registration uses pseudonyms agreed with you in advance; where it does not, access to your hospital record is restricted to your treating clinicians under Belgian medical confidentiality law. Accommodation is arranged outside the radius of your country's diplomatic presence. We do not photograph, do not publicise, do not publish case studies, and we do not confirm or deny that any individual is, or has been, in our care.

· 06

Continuity of care after returning home

Care does not end at the airport. Before you leave Belgium, a discharge summary and follow-up plan are written by your treating team. We transmit these — in your language and your physician's language — to your home doctor. We remain available, at no further charge, for thirty days after your return for any clinical clarification your home physician requires.
